Happy 25 to Robby

Rob turned 25 on August 27th. He used to have all his birthday parties at Gifford Pinchot State Park as a kid and we decided to re-live his childhood by having his 25th birthday at the same park this year. It was AWESOME! The best part was that he got to invite all the best people. Family and friends... all 60 of them! There was a pavilion, a grill, a potluck, horseshoes, ladder ball, sand volleyball, a lake, and a birthday boy.

My sisters brought my nephews along which is ALWAYS a highlight. Guess what? Laird is still into eating dirt. This is me trying to keep him from the dead leaves. He really wanted them.

These are the big men on campus these days. The big brothers. Yes they hold hands, but they're still the big cool kids.

Dan and Sully were stylin' in their matching baby blues.

laird loves his poppy.

I have SO many pictures of the volleyball game that seemed to last for hours. I chose this one for the birthday boy who, upon seeing this photo, commented on how good his form was.

Here's some friends. They. are. awesome. I particularly love the cutie in the purple shirt. (not you, Nate. sorry. would you consider that purple? maroon? Either way, i'm not talking about you.)

Finlay provided some extra entertainment. Where a party is, Finlay is also. He was a dancing machine on the sidelines of the volleyball court.

The truck was his boom box. You press a button and it plays a 10 second long song which he pushed and then danced until it stopped, then pushed it again, danced until it stopped, then pushed it again.... you get the point. the kid danced for like an hour. oh, the truck made for a good cup holder too while he was dancing.

there was grillin' courtesy of Papa Carr.

There was potluck courtesy of everyone!

This is a great line up of characters right here.

Robby's birthday cake, which we'll talk about at a later date :)

Nothing says party like Finlay Manifold.

It was such a good day at Pinchot! The weather was perfect! The summer has been so hot and it was one of the first weekends that finally felt like fall was coming. And the turnout of friends and family was so awesome. Happy Birthday to Rob!
